i was schooless on thursday cos it's an even week (:
woke up damn late and met qianning at the bukit batok macs for some sociological views on socialization.
i dont' make sense no?
stayed around with her for about 4 hours.
she was doing her math while i was doing my soci yet at the same time, thinking of the pain she must be going through.
i mean MATHEMATICS! the subject i swore never to touch again.
haha. we left at around 8ish cos she needed to head home for dinner.
i loitered around westmall very happily buying all sorts of food while waiting for babee to come down from tampines.
all the glorious fooooood. i was a happy girl.
bought him some food as well. a lot of food actually!
yup. that's about it, hung around and talked all sorts of rubbish (:

i woke up late for school on friday so i just didnt' go to school.

stayed at home the entire day doing absolutely nothing related to schoolwork :(
headed to bukit timah food centre with marc to feed the hungry tummies!
we order each a serving of pasta which was absolutely lovely. not to mention that it only cost like $3.90 a serving.

ordered fried carrot cake. it was damn a lot. but a little overrated i must say.
headed for dessert and had tangyuan (: i love the tangyuans there.
brought him to the 24 hour clinic nearby to get an mc for army and headed to the confectionary nearby for a little muffin each.

last game was this game that involved casting magic on each other but it got boring after a while. haha. damn fun!

i think i'm dying.
i have sudden failed eyesight and sleepiness :(
it's terrible. it's sucking the life out of me.
anyway, headed to church and had lunch with my girlfriend's family.
well, it was her 4th uncle's birthday so we headed to raffles town club for lunch (:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE!
we were split into 2 tables.
the adults table with ade's mum&dad and her 4th uncle&aunty.
then there was us - shirlene, lembu, timothy, ade, christine and i.
BUFFET! ate damn a lot of cakes and pastries. yummy!
brought christine and shir to cut their hair at bukit batok where we waited like one and a half hours for the hairstylist to be free.
but it was a great chat we had about life and relationships and whatnot!
met marc after that and followed him to the library for a while.
took a bus and went my own exploration. haha.
ended up at westmall where i finally satisfied my craving for an pan man.
had an impulsive idea to pierce a second ear hole on my right ear and bought 2 cds.

took a train to woodlands to meet his family for dinner.

went to heeren and reached there like super early cos everyone else was late :(
so we decided to amuse ourselves by taking neoprints!

got ade's phone call and i went to meet them.

ade and i started taking random photos together cos the guys just kept going on about army life! haha.
it's been so long and they still havent' given up.

so after we ate till our tummies almost burst, we headed to starbucks to chit chat and chill.
ade&gene disappeared to goodness knows where.
angmoh&helmi&i decided to go to taka to draw money while clement and liyi went to get something from wisma. haha.
anyway, I HAVE THE SWEETEST FRIENDS ALIVE! (:
they bought 4 slices of cake for me and put them together with a candle on top as my birthday cake! (:
i love the cake even though i kinda got sick of chocolate after that cos to begin with, i was already damn full from eating the whole crepe.
and they tried to make me eat at least half of the 4 slices (from the back so it's bigger) before they would start eating :(
(from top to bottom: pure chocolate cake, chocolate truffle cake, oreo cheesecake and some cake with an oreo base, dark, milk and white chocolate mousse)

haha. in order for some guy to agree to help us take the group photo, we had to fill in some survey/game sheet which they were playing. so ohwells, we did it!

yesterday was my cousin's wedding reception lunch thing.
haha. apparently, he's been married even before chinese new year but he didn't want to have a big event but his mummy wanted him to.
thus, the lunch.
it was at carousel at the royal plaza hotel on scotts.
the international buffet was HEAVENLY! (:
colin and i went around eating more of less the same food.
first we started off with the fresh seafood, followed by the japanese, then the western, the fusion, the chinese and the pastries.
thank goodness i was wearing those big flowy dresses yesterday! haha.
headed straight for the desserts after that (:
the bread pudding was the best. i also had the nonya kuehs, the chocolate fondue, the peach crumble, a while array of cakes (mango, strawberry, chocolate) and those mousses in the shotglasses! (: YUMMY!


i was very amused at the glasses. and the utensil holder in which they place our utensils on!
it's damn adorable.
and because we were arranged to seat according to the generations, there was a table full of babies! it looked like some cartoon.
after eating ourselves full till for like 2 and a half hours, colin and i decided to leave and walk over to cine to say pop by suki sushi to say hello (:
after which, we headed to plaza sing to look for his friends and walk around.
haha. i saw 2 bags which i intend to buy to replace my dying ones (: yayness.
i found a pair of jeans which i'm going to invest in soon after my next allowance comes in! whoo!
marc came over to look for us after that (:
walked around abit before going to catch arctic tale.
a show i would definitely want to watch but obviously would find it difficult to find people to watch with me.

a very touching show i must say.
and queen latifah is a genius in the way she narrates the stories.
the only thing that kept popping into my mind through the whole movie was that how cruel the human race actually is.
for the convenience of OUR world, we sacrifice THEIRS.

i've decided to stop procrastinating and i finally picked up my study material on thursday night.
boo.
i didn't go to school yesterday cos i was really severely under the weather so i decided to rest at home by sleeping through the night without any alarm.
lo and behold, i felt a lot better in the morning.
waking up to this message from tim the angmoh.
"oh no fatbird! i heard you're sick? you feeling better?"
YES I AM! and he salvaged himself by showing some concern.
after my very nutritious breakfast, i headed down for my hairtrim.
decided to pamper my hair as well cos i've been treating it really badly by not sleeping well the past few weeks.

and i wasn't all lazy when i was doing that alright? :D
i brought along my story book. yes the southeast asian course pack is just like a storybook.
all the interesting rituals and cultures of the southeast asian traditional people.
the significance of rice, the durian and the jackfruit (:
so i've declared this course pack to be my travel buddy whenever i'm travelling to wherever.

i haven't seen him since forever and he was wearing his ocs book out uniform carrying his huge luggage full of dirty (presumably damn smelly) outfield clothes with his helmet inside.

decided to catch up on my sociology.
in fact, i wanted to finish up my "culture" and "socialisation" but i realised that culture was such an enormous topic on its own, it was impossible.
i sat down there very dilligently writing my notes for 4-5hours with my emo songs to accompany me.
qianning joined me at the 2 hours mark and she was studying her chemistry for A levels.
thank God i'm an arts student (:
when my brain decided to reach its saturation point, i decided to pack up and leave.
took a train from bukit batok to tampines!
i was people watching. observing people and (sadly) looking at them and studying them from a sociological point of view.
why do people behave the way the do now? what's changed since a few decades ago etc.

i think i'm losing my memory.
my memory is failing me and i find the past few days' worth of events hards to recall.
but friday was nydc with ADELELE! (:
i ponned by economics lecture to go out with her. haha.
almost the entire bunch of people went back to pjc for teachers' day celebration.
sadly, ade and i were stuck in school having lectures :(
yes. back to nydc! (:
she had her beef lasagna (what's new, girlfriend)
and i had my DYNAMITE pizza.
the conversation i had with the waitor was amusing i must say.

me: can i have a dynamite pizza?
waitor: it's very spicy you know?
me: how spicy?
waitor: very.
me: as in like the spicy until i'll die if i eat it kind of spicy?
waitor: er.. YES.
me: in that case, i'll change my order to.. nevermind, i'll stick with it.
waitor: sure? ok.

ade and i had loads of BREAD BASED food.
ha. for one. our starters was some yummy garlic toast mozerella! (:
her lasagna came with garlic bread and my piazza was dough=bready.
not to mention the amount of water we drank cos of my pizza! haha.
so you can imagine how rolly polly our tummies were after that!
i had my eyebrows threaded and it was IKEA for us!
headed down to ikea and pushed ade around on the trolley for goodness knows how long.
she's like a little girl i tell you.
she bought a damn pretty bright blue quilt with big round circles on them.
and it came with 2 free pillow cases! (: so i psychoed her to get it! (:
on the other hand, i bought myself some big boxes to keep my jc stuff away.
a red dustbin and 35cents mug to keep my toothbrush in and some uhu glue!
headed across the road to oscar's foodmall (more like food centre!)
